Description

This short, anatomically half-moon shaped leather dressage girth offers optimal comfort and perfect adaptation to the morphology of horses with a wide rib cage. Fully padded and leather-lined, it prevents chafing and protects the horse's elbows while ensuring even pressure distribution.

Each billet strap is composed of three elastic bands and equipped with roller buckles for quick and secure girthing. The girth has a central D-ring for attaching training aids. The ends are specially cut to allow the saddle's billet straps to slide through, ensuring optimal buckle retention and maximum comfort for the horse.

Fitting

The shorter dressage girth should be chosen so that the buckles are located just above the saddle flaps, without creating extra bulk under the rider's leg. It should sit naturally in the girth groove, well-centered and perfectly flat against the horse's belly.

Girthing should be done gradually and symmetrically, ensuring an even distribution of pressure. The tension must ensure the stability of the saddle while preserving the horse's respiratory comfort: two fingers should be able to pass between the girth and the belly.

An adjustment after a few minutes of walking is recommended to ensure an optimal fit throughout the ride.
