Fitting

The leather and rope noseband should be adjusted to remain stable without ever compressing the bridge of the nose. Place the rope part on the fleshy area of the nose, avoiding the nasal bone. It should be positioned about two fingers below the zygomatic arch (cheekbone), like a classic French noseband.

Then adjust the tension so that you can slide two fingers flat between the noseband and the bridge of the nose. The rope should neither mark the skin nor slide freely. When moving, check that the noseband remains centered and does not tip to the side: good stability ensures more precise actions and better comfort for the horse.
