The long-cheek hollow mouth full cheek snaffle is designed to facilitate steering, particularly with young horses. The 19mm hollow cannons offer a perfect balance between effectiveness and comfort, while the 175mm long shanks allow for optimal maneuverability.

To determine the correct bit size, you can use a simple and precise method: the string technique. Take a piece of string or twine and gently place it in the horse's mouth, where the bit usually rests, from one corner to the other.

Then mark the two reference points and measure the resulting length on a flat surface. This measurement corresponds to the ideal bit width.

A well-chosen bit should extend very slightly beyond each side, by only a few millimeters, to remain stable without pinching the corners of the mouth. Once in place, it should create one to two small wrinkles at the corners of the mouth, a sign of a comfortable fit.
