Description

The full 2-ring snaffle with double joint is specially designed to offer optimal comfort in the horse's mouth thanks to its double articulation. The 16 mm solid cannons distribute pressure gently and precisely, limiting any discomfort or pain during work. The large 80 mm rings facilitate the passage of the reins and allow for a smooth adjustment on different types of bridles.

Made of stainless steel, this bit combines strength, longevity, and ease of maintenance, even after intensive use. A perfect solution for subtle and respectful work with the horse.

To determine the correct bit size, you can use a simple and precise method: the string technique. Take a piece of string or twine and gently place it in the horse's mouth, where the bit usually rests, from one corner of the mouth to the other.

Then mark the two reference points and measure the length obtained when laid flat. This measurement corresponds to the ideal bit width.

A well-chosen bit should extend very slightly beyond each side, by only a few millimeters, to remain stable without pinching the corners of the mouth. Once in place, it should create one to two small folds at the corners of the mouth, which is a sign of a comfortable fit.
