To ensure a good fit, start by putting on your gloves and closing your hand as if holding a rein. Your fingers should naturally reach the end of the glove, with no empty space. There should be no creases in the palm or around the fingers, as this creates friction and reduces precision. A glove that is too tight can cut off circulation, tire the hand, and cause tension, while a glove that is too loose will result in a lack of support and loss of control over the reins.

Next, open and close your hand several times to test flexibility. If the glove pulls at the base of the fingers or in the palm, it is too small.
