Horses & Ponies

Because every horse deserves perfectly fitted equipment, find our guides and advice here to choose the right size, respecting its morphology and comfort.

Size Guide - Bits

To find the correct bit size, you can use a simple and precise method: the string technique. Take a string or piece of twine and carefully place it in the horse's mouth, where the bit usually rests, from one corner of the mouth to the other.

Then, mark the two reference points and measure the length obtained when laid flat. This measurement corresponds to the ideal bit width.

A well-chosen bit should extend slightly beyond each side, by just a few millimeters, to remain stable without pinching the corners of the mouth. Once in place, it should create one to two small wrinkles at the corners of the mouth, indicating a comfortable fit.

Size Guide - Gloves

To choose the right glove size, it is important to take a simple and precise measurement of your hand:

• Take a flexible tape measure (or a string that you can then place on a ruler).
• Measure the circumference of your dominant hand (the right if you are right-handed, the left if you are left-handed).
• Place the tape measure around your palm, just below your fingers, without including your thumb.
• Refer to the size guide table

Your hand should be relaxed, and the tape measure should be snug without being tight.
